McKellar | Issue 2

Regular price €14,00

With the launch issue serving as a proof of concept, McKellar #2 was funded by a Kickstarter campaign, with readers and contributors donating special rounds of golf and all kinds of cool prizes to backers. It made all the difference in the world in getting this issue together.

Published in the spring of 2019, Lawrence Canning provided cover art for “The Bartonholm Three,” Tom Morton’s exceptional story about about the golden generation of golfers that emerged from a tiny industrial town in Ayrshire during the mid-20th century. Magazine co-founder Thomas Dunne filed an early review of the Ohoopee Match Club, Gil Hanse’s masterful design in Georgia. Derek Duncan, now the architecture editor of US Golf Digest, profiled the talented designer Dave Axland. And Connor Syme kept a diary of his rookie year on the European Tour.

Like Issue #1, this issue and its reprint are out of print, except for the rare copies to be found at Fine Margins.
